    Happy Summer OSTC Club members! 

    Our 2-week adventure throughout Ireland returned mid-July. I attended this trip personally and it was one of my favorite travel experiences for the landscape, local people, and the history we learned from our most wonderful personal guide Denis and coach driver Podrick. Thank you, trip Leaders Cyndy and Robin, for your extraordinary efforts in securing the most memorable happy hour locations on our journey. Ireland holds beautiful countryside drives between quaint little towns with so much personality and of course a Historic Pub or 2 to be experienced on every town block throughout Ireland. My most memorable 10 minutes was in a pub called Dick Macks I wandered into by myself milkshake in hand that was founded in 1899 in the small waterside town of Dingle. The front room was the size of a large living room with an Old-West Style Saloon on one side of the room slinging Guinness to the locals and the other side of the room was a leather shop where they were hand crafting a leather belt at the bar 2 feet in front of my beer mug using hand tools. Thirdly there were 3 musicians in the corner of the room playing Irish music with various instruments.     The board has met recently and approved our club’s budget for this next fiscal year and it includes continued food offerings for all club attendees at our now super-sized and really fun monthly socials. We’ve exceeded 100+ attendees at 2 of the past 3 most recent monthly Socials! We’re keeping things exciting by moving our Social locations around each month to a mix of new and previously experienced venues. The Elevation Hotel and Spa is a wonderful facility with numerous social areas, a large work-out area and spa, indoor and outdoor hot tubs and nicely appointed large hotel rooms. DO NOT let the resorts advertisement of extreme skiing scare you off. There are plenty of Blue and Green Runs to make anyone “dog tired” by the end of the day."

      Orlando City Lions vs. New England Revolution

      Fan Appreciation Night and the last match of the regular season is just around the corner, so we thought we'd make this a fun event for us to attend!

      The Orlando City Lions and the N.E. Revolution are at the top of the MLS roster, so this should be an action-packed finale to the Lions regular season play. And, October will be cooler weather after sunset!

      It’s also Fan Appreciation night at the stadium, so The Lions will celebrate what truly makes this Club special: There will be giveaways, prizes and fan-centric fun. Our seats are in the high-energy zone, and in shouting distance of the Iron Lion Firm and The Ruckus!
