Happy New Year, Orlando Ski and Travel Clubbers!!! Hope your holidays have been Merry & Bright!

Once again OSTC’s Holiday Party was a big success! This was a FREE event for our members, complete w/DJ for dancing (& did we dance!), free first drink & substantial appetizers! This is YOUR Board of Directors annual Thank You for your continued club support!  Also, thank you for your generous donations of toys and cash for the US Marines annual toy drive! It was also a treat to have several Marines present! To ALL OSTC members who have served our country, I wish to extend a GIANT thank you for your service!

OSTC also helps support St Augustine School for Deaf and Blind. The School annually rewards their students who excel with an Extreme Mobility Camp trip to Winter Park, Colorado. They need our help! Please donate to this worthy cause at https://orlandoskiclub.com/

Speaking of skiing, early December brought 30+ of us to Vail, it was a good ski warm up for the season & offered lots of fun filled activities. We had the largest contingent of snow boarders ever on an OSTC trip! Plus a few of our die-hard skiers took boarding lessons! Another group did a lengthy snow shoe tour horizontally across the mountain! Best of all, we had great comradery in a beautifully holiday decorated, quaint luxury hotel!

Next, in a few short weeks, we’ll be in Steamboat Springs! This will be our largest trip this season with 50+ skiers & boarders! We’ll be joining a couple hundred other Floridians as this is a Florida Ski Council trip. We hope to bring home the NASTAR race trophy!

In February will be our Heavenly/Lake Tahoe Trip, followed by our International ski, board and touring trip to Spain & Lisbon. Finally, wrapping up the season with Jackson Hole. It’s great to have so many options for the Winter season!

In a few months we’ll announce our Summer travel adventures!

We already have planned a trip of a lifetime to New Zealand for Fall 2018! It is jammed packed with tons of touring and adventure, starting w/evening & overnight in Hollywood before crossing the pond! Next is New Zealand with multi-night stops in Auckland, Rotorua and Queensland! Finally, wrapping up the adventure in Sydney, Australia. Tradition lives on with the early December 2017 pre-Holiday Trip. 33 of our most fun club members started off their December with some skiing in both Vail and Beaver Creek and the Turtle Bus definitely lived up to its reputation from 2 years ago. I expect our newest Ski Club members that chose this Party Trip as their first with the club will definitely be back for more, Ha Ha!
